Imagination is great but as I and Anna pointed out here a long time ago, imagination is a big part of why people play The Sims but then if we are just going to use imagination then might as well play Barbie and not a game. It's not about goals it's about the gameplay being there to make us expand our imagination. And a rabbit hole diving area leaves little to imagination. People pay money to experience something, to see it, touch it, feel it, not to imagine it. Imagination is great for a story, I can make those up and make pics or videos all day long to make you think exactly what I want you to think happened to a Sim. But if it really doesn't then that's a lack of simulation by developers. Simulators shouldn't just be 'imagination' but simulate.
