If TS5 is coming, it'll be no different in how they handled TS4, at least marketing-wise. I don't expect quality product out of it either, unless they take a step back to Sims 2/3 levels and just leave TS4 behind.
Honestly it all depends on us as players/costumers. Personally if what happened with TS4 in the beginning, up until now, repeats itself with TS5, I'm not buying it. TS2 and TS3 are great games that I will play as long as my computer supports them. The most recent games may have good visuals, but that's just it, they are just visuals. I want gameplay.
