Lost Legacies Gameplay Thread (Ending March 16)

I heard that the new Fairy Gown that was put in Lost Legacies Event is actually a refresh in Sims 4 Enchanted By Nature CAS.  And for any simmer that couldn't play the limited Event can still get that Gown through the Pack.

Could you use the new save file just to quickly finish the event without using your main save if you don’t want story overlap in your main save. For example, start new save, then finish the storyline of week 3-4 that you could finish in just one hour. After that, Marina won’t appear in front of your house in main save anymore.

Or you intend to avoid getting week 3-4 rewards, so you have to avoid playing it. Sorry if I misunderstood, I’m just curious why you want to play only two weeks instead of getting all rewards.

P.S. I already tested, after finish the event, when I opened another save file, no Marina be created.

That's interesting to know. But I can't check about this myself because I already finished the event. We may know after the patch if someone doesn't do the event, but has the Enchanted By Nature pack.

After finishing the event, Marina Corsair will still reside in the save file you played the event. What's your plan for her?

1. Delete her immediately.
2. Keep her, but just leave her be another background townie.
3. Keep her, and include her in your main storyline.

On my side, I chose "2". I didn't want her in my main save, so I played in the 3rd save from the start. I planned to delete her if I really didn't like her, but I ended up keeping her and will makeover her outfits later (so she doesn't swim in full clothes).

Also, as she is an event NPC, Marina is "Immortal". So be aware that she may be like Alex Moyer, who will stay with you forever, even for many generations. (Unless you remove her Event NPC trait)

However, I stopped playing after the event. I don't know if Marina will be spawned as normal townies or not. In the case of Emit Relevart, he never appeared in the community again. And he has limited action to play with unless you remove his "is_Emit" trait.

I think I'll keep her, but she will be just another background townie. I won't even move her to my households. Is Emit immortal too? I still have him in my game in other households.

I checked again with the "Show Sim Info" mod to see his hidden trait and found this.

So, if you have him in the game that has aging on, he will be a young adult forever. And there are some limitations about interacting with him (can't remember now after I made him a normal sim)

However, you can make him mortal and functional as a normal sim by removing "trait_isEmit".

For Marina, I will check again when I have time to continue playing.

I am happy for everyone who was able to actually complete this event and get the rewards, but at this point, I loathe it to the core of my being, to the extent that it's making me hate the entire game. I've spent weeks trying to get the royal envoy to actually show up anywhere, and I've been stuck for days trying to get her to show up to play a game of chess so I can progress past that point. It's a freaking shame... the storyline is actually interesting, and the rewards are amazing... or appear to be, I guess I'll never know. 

The event is supposed to still be on but my game already updated and it isn't showing anymore. Would be great if they would stick to the timeline they post.
