Lot Challenges Coming: Correct The Grocery Prices To Foster Fun Experience
I am looking forward to the challenge that compels our sims to obtain groceries, and I would love to apply that to non-farming households for realism challenges too!
Before doing so, I’d like to voice the long-standing ridiculous price tags on ingredients... Below is the price tags from the ingredient stall that came with City Living.
Produce
Spices
Let’s use a single serving of spaghetti as an example. Directly from the magical fridge (no ingredients obtained) costs §6, but if a sim was to actively sought after those ingredients, it’ll cost §24 (tomato) + §29 (onion) + §5 (mushroom) + §? (garlic) = §58+!!! The price tags of these ingredients make very little sense. They should be realistically adjusted to work in-line with the overall economics of the world.
