The world is so empty and dull, but what really bugged me this time was the lack of attractions. Sights to see. We have a few, but they're few and far between, and not that exciting. And we don't have any special interactions with them, besides looking at them. You don't even have unique couple interactions where you can look at them together; no holding hands while looking at the lake, no mimicking the pose of the couple on the wall. You can't even get the sims to stand side by side half the time, even with View Together.
The pack really feels low-budget. A lot content is recycled from other packs, and we're still missing a ton of elements. The dating system is still very flawed, only now it has slightly different flaws you can choose from. The Cupid's Corner app is impressive for its range, being able to pull from the Gallery, but it's so barebones and it's pretty much on par with most of the free dating app mods we have. (I know console players don't have access to mods. But they still deserve better than this.) Features come into conflict with things from other packs. Heck, the features come into conflict with other features in this same pack. It's so weird that we're paying $40 ($55+ CAD) for this. You can get really good, stand-alone games for similar prices. But for the Sims, we get Expansion Packs that need to recycle or reskin a ton of content we already have, with diminishing turns each time. I know the Sims is more complex than other games, and the packs need to account for other packs (which they don't do half the time anyway), but I can't help but feel disappointed.
