Very true. And let's not forget the fact that sims 3 worlds needed everything in them because sims could not freely visit other worlds (except moving and breaking all ties with their previous home) Sims 3 worlds had to be big enough to contain everything. I 'm so happy we can use all worlds in the same save in sims 4. But the option to edit a world would have been more than welcome.
The bold part is factually incorrect. Using the in-game "Move to a different neighborhood" interaction allows to move your family to another world and KEEP your ties/relationships. In fact, all Sims your family know are protected, so you can invite them to stay at your house as foreign visitor and even ask them to move in (and then move them to another house if you want)."VentusMatt;c-16988776" wrote:
As of now if you own every pack that adds a world (not including OR, JA or special lots) there are 157 playable lots lots.
How much money do you have to spend to have all those lots? ;)
There are custom worlds which have over 180 lots (Alpine County). Or even really small worlds with 125 lots very close together (Plymouth Isle). Furthermore, you can place your own lots, so nothing is stopping you from bulldozing some 64x64 lots and replacing them with four 16x16 lots if you choose so. In the case of Lucky Palms it can fit at least 30 or more lots of various sizes connected to roads.
I agree as I am not proud to pay for extra space when in the past I did not have to pay for it as it was optional. However this an new generation that is here and EA/Maxis is taking avantage of it.
