I want to lock up my guests in the basement, I built rooms with those gaming mats and once the guests are in the basement I'm going to get rid of the stairs and as each one starts playing on the mats I'm going to remove the door to the room and trap them there but I need a way to get them into the basement. Any suggestions?

Put up a counter, have a sim make a plate of food. set it down on the counter in the basement and click call to meal. all the guests will go down to get a plate of food.

Simple....put a couch in the basement...engage them all in conversation...select couch...select Sit Together....when your 'guests' are sitting comfortably...cancel the conversation...walk upstairs...delete stairs :)

Put a tv, computer, and video game system down there and maybe a radio. Sims are obsessed with technology. If you want to lock out specific Sims there is this mod: http://modthesims.info/d/552565

I just ended up putting the bar down there and a stereo and I turned the music up really loud and the guests came and none of my sims did so :) now we wait for them to die.

They sound like pretty cushy prisons to me ;)

It's really fun to put a cow plant down there. Eventually they get hungry and go after that cake!

I was too impatient to wait for them all to die so I gave up. I have to figure out a more effective way to kill them because starvation takes too long and if you drown them the ghosts leave water everywhere :/ this plot is a work in progress.
