Make spellcasters actually exist in the game?

I’m an occult player myself and if I’m being honest I prefer it this way. I like that spellcaster sims have to practice the arts in private in order to blend with society. To me it brings element of mystery for story telling purposes that your occult sims are very different from normal sims and their oblivious to this unless they witness otherwise. If that’s not your play style I get it, an option to adjust it to the player would be cool I suppose, however I like being able to have normal experiences without something out of place going on in the background. I feel it gives me control if I want an abnormal event to occur.
