Making sims live in the same dorm without controlling them all?

Is it possible to make multiple sims live in a university dorm without controlling both of them? I can't make all my sims live in the same dorm without having to control them both. Any ideas on how to...

I have not done this yet, but I believe you can use clubs to put the sims you want in the dorms. I have it set up just need to get everyone ready for University. I am not sure how you move then in though.
