Yes, I have, actually, and what CC I have is largely confined to clothing, hair &c., walls, and floors. While there is some furniture & deco, it is for either a Victorian or medieval house. Other than those special cases, I've found that game provided material back then was quite sufficient to give my sims an attractive, coherent home to live in invariably nicer than my own mouse-hole.
