I like the way the packs are themed specifically. If I want something I can find the pack that offers it without having to have a bunch of other features I don't care about. Also the packs go into a lot of detail on it's specific theme.
I've seen people say that resorts should have been in Island Living, but I disagree. I really like Island Living for what it is: living on an island. I think they've gone into a lot of detail on capturing island life. Resorts would completely change what the pack is about.
Then people decided Snowy Escape should have them, but again I disagree. If they had put resorts in Snowy Escape, something would have had to be taken out. I really like the detail that went into the pack and how there are so many different ways your Sims snowboard down the mountain. Having four slopes with three different intensities each gives so many options in how they go about it.
I have no interest in running a resort or a resorts pack myself, but if they do make one, the resort system would be much more detailed than if they chucked it in with a pack where it doesn't really fit. Otherwise they might have focused on that instead of on what the packs are supposed to be about.
I really don't get how people can not see that snowboarding and skiing on an actual mountain is completely new gameplay never been done before in any Sims games. That is not what I would call recycled gameplay. It's completely new gameplay.
Wouldn't this take away from the pack the eternal winter world for the snow sports. I like having a world that is always snowing.

Snowy escape demonstrated Sims 4 packs are largely recycled gameplay with new names, paint and animations.

Not only that but it WOULD have two seasons (or 4 if u had seasons) which allowed for winter activities and summer activities - heck maybe even a summer camps to keep business up during the summer. YES SUMMER CAMPS.
