Maxis going in wrong direction with expansion pack gameplay?

I feel like some of the packs could be a little better but they’re really not bad. I agree with you:.. most of the reasons why I don’t enjoy the packs are due to the fundamental functionality of the game which makes every pack feel bland. The sims are just broken beyond repair... they’re so lifeless even with all of these extreme emotions. It’s an oxymoron.
