The "theme" of the pack was chosen by the people. So it is hard to blame them for the "theme" of the pack. While I agree there was not enough content to justify 40 bucks, people still wanted snow sports in the game knowing seasons had already been released.
As for the snow sport survey, it was the survey that addressed some of the gameplay wants(meaningful sim relationships) so I wouldn't say they are completely pointless. I am sure we got the lifestyle and sentiments system based on that survey even though the systems are poorly executed in my opinion.
They also have been putting out a survey asking simmer whether simmer want them to revisit the old pack and improve on it, after putting out a survey like this giving they can in a way add most of the snowy escape features to seasons, and no its not called being entitled because they themselves have offered survey like this. Snowy escape could be another pack with entirely different theme.
