Maybe the "new Sims experience" could be optional multiplayer a la Stardew Valley.
definitely unrealistic but what would everyone's feelings about that be?

I have played Stardew Multiplayer, and it works well for that game. ...But I think Sims 4 it would not work as well. Too many variables and player control/unique styles. Maybe they could do it on one of their mobile games, since those seem more restrictive.
