Mermaids confirmed for Island Living!!!

I want them to be a playable lifestate like Aliens and Vampires (but I hope they are more similar to vampires in their treatment). I don't want to bring up false hope's but I think it's safe to assume they will be playable. As can be seen in the promo image, that mermaid has a plumbob, so hopefully that's a hint. The leaked description also says "meet a mermaid", which would imply to me that there is a permanent mermaid in the game.

They also mention in the leaked description "learn about the folklore" and I can't help but think that has something do with mermaids, perhaps a secret mermaid beach and how to become one???
