I've only created two clubs in my game with nominal success. One, I made a Family Gathering Club, but I can't include the new in-laws, so I have to just have an active Sim call them to the lot to 'hang out'. Then when I had my Sim in Starfleet (they lived aboard my rendition of the USS Enterprise-1701-A) I had a "Landing Party" club to have the crew visit another planet IE San Salvadoran for a 'mission'. I thought it would keep them together. Oopsie. No, Captain Kirk went off to explore leaving his hand-picked landing party behind a locked gate. Epic fail.
I've never gotten along with the club system. I think I'm not applying it correctly, though. Ho-hum.
