I'm fine with this. The game is free to play, it makes sense that they would have in game advertising.

Most of us bought the game when it cost money. So anyone who payed for it is basically getting the worst of both worlds: paying for the price of a full game but getting a F2P experience.
And even if it is F2P, it's still invasive and ruining the experience we used to have. And they don't benefit the player.

I payed for the game. I've paid full price for most of the DLC.
I don't like the flashing shopping cart icon. The flashing is distracting and annoying.
Advertising on the loading screen will just give me something to look at while I wait. So I guess it sort of benefits me...
None of it ruins my experience.
I find in life if we look for things to be upset about, we will find them.
Maybe it won't be as bad as you think.

I would find the ads pretty annoying. I don't want to feel like I'm being gouged to pay for more stuff every time I play the game.
And tbh I feel like I need to draw lines and speak up, because if I don't, EA will keep pushing the envelope and see what they can get away with. Because they already have three different ads before we can even play the game, and they're getting more intrusive. I feel like things will get worse if I just accept everything that happens. Cool if you don't have a problem with it, I won't ask you to protest or anything. But I personally think it's important to acknowledge the dangers around the ads.
