Loading screens are apparently going to be updated soon, according to this Sims Community article. And it looks like they might start advertising packs on them in a similar way to Sims 3 loading screens (although those were interactive and you could opt out of them).
I’m tired of this, but not surprised. It just seems inevitable now that they’re going to use every opportunity in the game to try and make us spend more money. What do you all think?
Agree! I noticed a huge one today as well. There's nowhere to run! 😯
The app is a great place to advertise the game as a business not... inside the game. Soon I'll be seeing other advertising in game for items related to the game. Maybe I can even order Door Dash in game and not have to go out or cook when I'm hungry...I can just keep playing with my diaper on.

I got the same add. I find it very intrusive. This feels as if my pc is totally taken over. Every inch of my screen is covered.
But I am not surprised. Earlier this week my screen got hijacked to show me another one of these adds. (nu kopen = buy now). The worst thing is: I get these rediculously large adds to buy EP's I already own. EA: No matter how aggressive you make these pop up's I can tell you one thing: I won't be buying DLC twice! It's already expensive enough to get them once.
