Charging for functionality that should’ve been in Get To Work to begin with. Classic
Or patched tbh lol - Since when did Stuff Pack mean a focus on clothing? It's stuff. Looks like they may be taking stuff packs in a new direction. Focusing more on a gamplay feature with clothing and objects that complement it.

It's a clothing brand stuff pack. THAT means focus on clothing. "Sigzy05;c-17194713" wrote:

It's also an advertising campaign which focuses on photography.- SimsBarbieNew SpectatorI like when they add gameplay features in SP's.
- So first we paid for the photography skill in Get to Work! ??? Then they added it to the base game in a free patch! ??? And now we get to pay for the rest of the photogeaphy skill content in a new stuff pack!!! ??? Honestly The Sims team deserves a round of applause because of how much energy they're saving by selling us recycled content!! Yay planet!! ??♻ - Kevin García León
- Okay, I was prepared to dislike this pack and give it a miss. After the stream, though, I was pleasantly surprised by all that will be added to the game with this stuff pack. I like all the objects and think they are well done. The career is a nice addition to the other 3 freelance type careers and a lot of nice functionality and ease has been added to the camera and photographic display elements.
I don’t agree that all this should have been added to GTW, btw. Some photographic elements are part of the patch and so technically we are getting them for free, and the Freelancer careers hadn’t been developed yet when GTW came out. I prefer that type of career to a rabbit hole. Plus, this game with all the patches and free updates has weirdly become a work in progress in a way that is totally unlike TS3 and TS2. The developers seem to revisit earlier elements and keep adding on to them a lot. The game was missing a lot originally but still it continually evolves. And any base game element could conceivably be enhanced or redeveloped at any time.
Anyway I am starting to think that I will get this pack (once I have seen everything that is in it), for the new career, game play objects, skill enhancements, build buy items, and not so much for the clothes. It looks like it will be broadly useful. "TheIntrovertSimmer;c-17194827" wrote:

But is it really recycled content? The idea may be recycled (I prefer upgrade) but the content is new. No?- Sigzy_29New Spectator

And people buy this stuff...... What EA can and will get away with nowadays.... In any other gaming franchise this would set the community on flames and news sites and youtubers would be ravaging on the devs corpses.... but that doesn't happen here because it's the Sims.....and nobody cares about it, and it's costumers like being ripped off. - SEREFRASSeasoned VeteranEA has been doing this for years. The Get Together parties is related to City Living Clubs, Strangerville is an extension of Get to Work, Spa Day is related to Fitness Stuff, Jungle Adventure is related to Island Living, Parenthood is related to Kids, Toddlers & Bowling Stuff. Also, Get Famous is related to Luxury Stuff, Dine Out related to Cool Kitchen Stuff, Vampires related to Spooky Stuff, Outdoor Retreat related to Backyard & Perfect Padio Stuff. Furthermore, the infamous Cats & Dogs related to My First Pet Stuff.
