- Any time spent on this could have been spent on another more interesting pack. Then maybe we could have gotten one or two more better looking moschino patch items too because I'm sure they were saved for this pack. I was actually looking forward to the next stuff pack too.

Didn't everyone love these?

Moschino Stuff is no different.
Yes those were good packs with some excellent content in them so I am not opposed to brand tie ins in principle and wasn't immediately up in arms when they announced the pack.
Then I had a look at the Moschino website...
There are a few items that would look good on our sims, a couple of those have been shown in this thread, but there is so much more that is hideous. The probability does not look good of the good stuff making it into the pack.
But I'll wait until I can actually see what is in the pack before I give anything more than a don't know. I won't be buying it for the Fashion Photographer career so this might be the one stuff pack I won't be buying.
But it depends... - I don’t like real-life people or businesses or anything like that incorporated into The Sims. I don’t like the style of their clothing, either. I’m not personally going to buy it, but if my girlfriend ends up with it, I still won’t necessarily mind the extra content.
- This year’s stuff pack was supposed to be great considering how much time it has been since the last one. And simmers particularly at this thread are beginning to unify their opinion of the stuff pack, and it’s not sounding great. The recent news from stream has announced the name of the new stuff pack and it personally had my wig turned upside down for the moment I saw it. Moschino doesn’t have the kind of stuff I was hoping for.
I’ve been wishing for a stuff pack focusing on rustic weddings, new pool activities, baby stuff for years already but no. And the only one that we’ll be getting this year isn’t it abd my hopes ain’t be happening until next year or so. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who wanted these types of things. So, this left me pessimistic about the future of stuff packs. A comment of mine in Facebook made a lot people disagree with me and it says “Who the plum would pay 10 bucks for an advertisement?” which one person replied that they are the same of people who bought Sweet Treats, Ikea, H&M, and Diesel stuff pack.
So, let me explain each one. Sweet Treats is a decent stuff pack since Katy Perry was still popular (I mean very popular) during that time and she even made a version of one of her iconic song in simlish which was lit. H&M and Ikea alone are very common and relevant which everyone knows of, although I ain’t western and live in a rural town, you see where I’m coming from. Diesel Stuff Pack came with new car additions and stuff so that was acceptable and a very decent stuff pack indeed.
And then the Moschino Capsule Collection invaded the sims universe which has had a lot of simmers feeling disappointed about the collaboration between the sims and it. One fan site has also pointed out how awful the collab is and it says the sims are walking #ad, the sweater design doesn’t fit the sims, Moschino is very overpriced, and the lack of cultural appropriation (calling the freezer bunny as lucky bunny and it shows) for the sims. The article was written a week after the sweater patch. And I’m also beginning to think that hilarious baby ariel partnership was better than this.
On top of that, this collab is very mismatched and unnecessary. They gave us a low quality sweater with a ‘lucky bunny’ design that looked very awful and unfitting for the game’s art style.
And what in the actual hell are we getting in the new stuff pack? The same clothing that we saw from the promotional arts? They look very basic tbh and feels like we already have them in game in some form.
Unrelated but a few days ago while scrolling on twitter, I saw a fellow simmer’s prediction about the new packs and he listed Moschino as the new stuff pack. And I was like, you must be kidding, right? But it turned out that his prediction was right.
I just wish they had announced a collaboration with a better fashion company and tried it make it more relevant at least since Moschino literally sells a plain t-shirt for a price of 600 dollars. They could have just partnered with Gucci or Balenciaga considering how overpriced their clothing is. Plus, they’re more relevant and familiar which a lot of us could relate to but when I hear ‘moschino’ then I’ll be like ‘what that?’ I’m not really a fashion type of guy, so that majority of disappointment comes from my personal preferences, y’know what im sayin.
Now, I’d rather name this stuff pack as ‘mosquito stuff’ instead of it cuz pretty sure they’d release this then leave us with a mosquito satisfaction that would suck as a whole, pun intended.
Last, some of you might be saying how I ungrateful I am considering that we are finally getting a new expansion and magic themed game pack this year and that they don’t force me to buy the stuff pack and that’s ok, I immediately thought of that too. But I’m just really disappointed on this stuff pack wasn’t well thought and planned and could possibly act like an impending disaster that will enrage a lot of simmers again, similar to what we had back in my first pet disaster.
Sorry for my bad English, it aint my mother tongue, y’know what im sayin. "TheIntrovertSimmer;c-17100438" wrote:

I’m so glad that you took the time to write this, because I agree with everything you just said. Sims 4 is supposed to one up previous packs, but everyone seems to reminisce on previous packs then the new ones. That says a lot. The fact that we keep requesting this stuff, and instead we get this, it’s just irritating. The worst part is that sims 5 is approaching, and we still don’t have all that we need."CK213;c-17100085" wrote:
I wouldn't have bought it, but I am a bit annoyed that they tied something I can use to it.
I wish "Annoyed" was a choice.
I wish I could edit it for you, because you just spilled the tea, and I relate."SilentKitty;c-17100023" wrote:
Hmmm... I own almost all the stuff packs and enjoy them a lot so I won’t rule this one beforehand. That said, I really do not like seeing English on items in my game. That is a hard pass from me and I wish I could get rid of the sweater that is already in the game.
It might not be the stuff pack for me but then I have been happy with a lot of them. Hope it will be great for simmers who are into fashion. The career could be a lot of fun.
That is Italian as that is an Italian Company."Briana2425;c-17099178" wrote:
Yo the stuff pack we could've used it for a Wedding Stuff Pack because Weddings content have been lacking compared to the Sims 2 and Sims 3 I miss the gowns, the veils, the bachelor/bachelorette party, but can we please have double rings for the female Sims please? Also sports day stuff pack like having to play catch with baseball and football or have a ball rink where the Sims swing the bat at the ball machine.
We need more detail in packs. Parenthood totally forgot about: prom, graduation, and other school events. I feel like things in here are too simple. They don’t have layers to them.- I'm not a huge fan of stuff packs and have skipped many along the way. If I'm going to buy this one, the clothing and the career will have to be very good. But judging from the Moshino clothing I've seen I have my doubts that I'll like them. And I can't get hyped about the idea of the career either, even though I always want more careers. I feel like it's kind of similar to the style influencer career, which involves photography (which is a feature we've had for ages). But we'll see, maybe they'll make it a unique and fun career that I won't be able to resist.
