Moving Out without having to sell or keep the furniture..

When moving a sim is there a way to leave the furniture at the original home without having to sell or keep the furniture? If you decide to sell the furniture it still takes it away right? I hate l...

It works in my game.

But, i'm assuming the OP is speaking of when one sim moves out of their home to move in with another sim.
