Mt Komorebi World Discussion Thread

I think when I do get the pack I'll convert the mountain area to have more of an alpine vibe rather than the Japanese houses. I really want to see cosy cabins and ski chalets with hot tubs and saunas, so I really hope some builders will make some for this world!

Agreed about cabins

Is anyone else having the problem where when they go to open the Mt. Komorebi world, it just opens to a white screen? This is the only world where this happens. I’ve created a new save file and tried to open the world again and it brought me to the same white screen. This has never happened before, I just bought Snowy Escape. I don’t think it’s a mod issue considering I have not encountered this issue with any other world. Can someone help?

Make sure to post in this link. It sounds like it might be your graphics card but it could be a bug on Maxis end.

So everyone is saying there's a hidden lot on the mountain top, but there are apparently two hidden lots because the 50x50 adjacent to the onsen isn't on the map either. Unless it's a mistake by the devs?

I thought the same, I've completed one chalet and working on a large one for the 50x50 lot. I keep some Japanese elements just because I like them though.

I've downloaded a cabin just for this reason as I'm going to stick it on that 50x50 on the mountain and make it a rental.

Is anyone having issues with invisible walls preventing you from placing doors/windows/items close to them?
I bulldozed the 5-6-1 lot and there is a part on the left middle side that seems to be blocked by something invisible.

I personally think the world is beautiful but some of the water texture looks ugly especially in the lower right neighborhood compared to water texture from granite falls.

I'm kind of disappointed with the lot placement in the winter part of the world, they're all just sort of dumped in a row at the bottom rather than being spread through the mountains. I would've loved to see a nice mountain lodge at the top of the slopes but alas.

Also why are they flat? Terrain tools have been in game for ages now and Island Living brought lots that sloped down into the sea, it would've been perfect to have these lots actually built into the mountains on slopes.
