Why take it out now? Just leave it alone, for crying out loud. There are mods that eliminate the deaths, along with upgrades one can do that make the bed unbreakable. I knew the Murphy bed would be a hassle to deal with before I bought the pack because of the way these kinds of features are often given a high probability of happening, and I knew it would happen a lot with that bed. The devs just don't know how to tone down these things. Many players are very happy with the Murphy bed, it was hyped as a new way to kill Sims, and it isn't fair to the players who use this in their stories, or to the players who like the ghosts in their games. It's just a new bed, there are mods to use if one doesn't want to deal with random deaths, so leave it as it is. And don't forget how things often get messed up whenever the teams start playing around with stuff after it's already in the game. On top of all of that, the Murphy bed doesn't fit very well into the concept of living in a tiny house. Give one of your Sims a high level of handiness skill, upgrade the bed then use it, is what I recommend. The Murphy bed is not what this pack is about. It is just one small feature that can easily be controlled. And it is up to each one of us to decide the best way to use it in our games.
