My default cc eyes don't work

Patches sometimes break CC eyes. Make sure the ones you’re using have been updated.

It may not be cc but a mod. Need more information to pin down the problem. Nifty Kitting broke some mods and cc. Don't have NK but updated game can still break cc and mods. UI extension was broke but fixed now. I mention this mod because it did weird things to my cas until it was fixed a short time later.

The nifty patch broke default eyes. Most cc creators have updated theirs . It’s a known issue. But there’s also already a mod to fix them yourself on MTS.

Eco Living and Nifty patches broke default eyes, I had to use another one created post-patch as the one I used before have been abandoned by its creator, iirc there was a guide to update the default eyes to work just in case yours is abandoned as well but it was a lot of work.

Thanks to all the information and help. I finally found some that work.

This is why I stopped using CC default eyes. It became too much of a hassle to look for updates or eyes that worked every time a patch broke them.

Non defaults didnt stop. For those of you who dislike EA eyes, like *I* do...non-defaults are a must have! :)

I used this after the patch broke my favourite eyes and it worked great. You can just google TS4 Default Replacement Fixer mod if you are uncomfortable clicking links here.

I really must be on the lookout for CC defaults again. EA’s are so bad to me. I used to have a favorite set that was mostly variations of brown (which we don’t have enough of by default) with a few other colours mixed in. Can’t remember who made them though.
