LOL, I had a different problem. My 4 elders all died within minutes of each other. The first died and his wife went to morn him and she kieled over. Then her live in gf saw her dead and she died and the gf's live in lover saw her die and she died. Of course it crashed the game. Something to do with the inventory being too big. So I had to empty all their inventories in a save just before they died.
