My first sims pet pack? Is there more to come?

I really feel like since it is called My first pets stuff pack, I have a crazy feeling that we still might get a Small Pets Game pack. Maybe that is why they couldn't include any other animals because maybe it will be a main upcoming feature. Like last year when they put out Toddler stuff pack, and Parenthood Game pack, and the free toddler update. I sense a pattern, But it is pure speculation:))) Just seems weird that they call it My (first) pets stuff pack

But it is so weird that they used (first) pets pack, that makes me speculate for sure lol. I really do hope for a game pack, but I want a bunch of animals. But I am really hoping the only reason they did not give us more animals, for maybe they have plans for them in another pack. I am way to hopeful lol.

    I think the 'first' indicates the pack is geared towards a child's first pet. Hence all the colorful and whimsical furniture suitable for a child's room or playroom.

    Yeah I think it refers to a child also.

    So I guess... I guess if they do it that way and move away from the little kid stuff with every animal I can get to accept it. Would actually be pretty nice to have an elder pack. They could do a more strange pack too for snake, spider owners.. I'd get that one for sure. I know I'd get a bird one however it came cause I just gotta have it.

    Nah I think the whole My First thing is in conjunction with the hamster/hedgehog etc, people usually give their kids a hamster or something equivalent to that, to let their children prove they can nurture for an animal. I think that's where it comes from.

    Really? If so, there should have been small birds in cages, iguanas, lizards, snakes etc. Those are all small first pets as well. They should have skipped this SP altogether for a Small Pets GP that's disconnected from Cats and Dogs. I see it as just a lazy repack of new outfits for Cats and Dogs to encourage those who didn't get it to buy it. I'm sick of them marketing "Cute" things and repacks of the same stuff as valuable things added to the game. These things don't make the game better or more diverse. I don't want a cute beret to put on a dog. I want parrots and birds and snakes and different gameplay for different sims...
