OK, @rosemow , it would appear that my computer oh so kindly decided to randomly move my sims 3 and sims 4 folders (from documents/electronic arts to my pictures!
I've found them both - how do I put them back?
I figured I could just move the sims 3 one back, but what about 4? because the game's already created a new sims 4 folder, but I've now found my one.
