My issue with mermaids

Yeah I was pretty bummed out my mermaid couldn't eat raw fish, I was hoping they'd add that in there since they'd be a normal part of their diet, and eating it in the actual ocean would have been awesome. I was actually kind of hoping they'd only be able to eat fish raw and get a negative moodlet if they cooked the fish because it would seem unnatural to them. The only other problem I really see with them is that they made a point that mermaids could lure other sims to their doom with their songs...however if you actually try to do this it's impossible. I tried for about an actual hour to drown a sim to try it out, and that sim would not die, in fact when she lured him with her siren song he'd go from exhausted to tired, so it was actually raising his bar instead of dropping it like they said it was supposed to. So then I was forcing him to stay in water with other songs until he was exhausted and summoned a threat from the deep...that didn't work either, that threat isn't very threatening because even after about 20 attempts he was just fine. Also no matter how exhausted he became he never drowned on his own either which was supposed to also be possible, so again, not sure if it's some kind of bug with ocean water or what, but from what I've seen it's not possible to drown a sim with a mermaid.
