My sim «lost» his bike

Buying a bike doesn’t seem to be an option. I have previously bought pants and a sweather, and the only option lett is a hat. No bike option.

I found that my sims would randomly leave their bike places, such as outside their lectures or the sports arena, so if you lose your new one it might be worth having a look and seeing if there is a random bike sitting there waiting for you :)

I left my bike outside a bar. I'd ridden it to the secret hidden ritual place and I guess my Sim just wandered off and we both forgot the bike existed. I spotted it the next time we visited, and stuck it back in her inventory.

My sim (and I) forgot his bike once. Next time I went in to the game I got a message about him leaving his bike & that it had been returned to his inventory.

I love this new feature! I've had laptops returned to my inventory several times. I wonder why it didn't work for me. Maybe because my Sim's bicycle wasn't on the lot? *shrug*

Be aware that they sometimes leave their bike somewhere in the hood. If you don't watch them closely on their way to class etc. I found my sim's bike on locations I didn't even know he had been. It was parked there. I assume they don't always remember they actually have a bike standing near by, so they return to the dorm by foot. If you see a bike and point at it I don't think it gives who is the owner (wish it would), but I think you can only grab the bike that belongs to you.

I bought my sim a new bike, and then a few sim-days later I noticed his old bike was back in his inventory, so I sold the new one :smile:

I’ve also noticed that sims sometimes walk to school, even though they have a perfectly fine bike in their inventory.

Another Sim almost rode his bike into the ocean again. Davy Jones’ Locker has already commandeered a handful that I can’t figure out how to move even with cheats. Luckily I was able to stop this fool from doing so too.
