My Sim Won't Cook

Yeah are you sure nothing is hanging on the walls in front of the counters? Or is there a dining table they can put the food on?

If it's really troubling you, go to origin and then click on my games. After that, you should be able to right click on The Sims 4 and it should say something like troubleshoot/repair game.

I had an issue where my sims wouldn't cook awhile back and it was an issue with large four pane windows from the base game, I'm not sure what they are called.

I'm currently having the issue where my sims won't cook, won't sleep and won't even use the computer. It's not even just MY sims, I played another household with the same problem. I repaired my game three times, restarted my computer two times even uninstalled my game and re-installed it.

I've also deleted the family I was playing and cleared out all of my CC objects (since I didn't have any issues before I got them), still not working. I just got Get Together, but still...

Do you have any mods in your game? If you do, remove all of them and see if that helps. There has been many mods that have been conflicting with the game since the patch/release of the EP. This is a link to a thread that lists some of the broken/updated mods.

Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

My sim wont finish cooking. She starts cooking then half way through she goes outside and stands on the sidepath and has the thought bubble that she cant access where she wants to go. I have no idea why she does this and its a real problem because she cant eat. plz help someone! she also puts it on the bedside table when she comes back inside and if i tell her to resume cooking she does the same thing all over again.

Check to make sure that there isn't anything blocking her route to the stove, and make sure that there is counter space in the room. If you have a microwave in the kitchen, sell that because they have caused issues. Try moving items around in the kitchen and see if that helps. Make sure that the oven is empty. Buy another stove and see if that helps the issue.

If the issues remain, try removing any cc/mods that you have in your game and see if that helps,

Try resetting the sims 4 folder like I posted in the above post.

Try pulling *all* your mods and CC out. If that fixes it, add them back in gradually to figure out which is the problem.

Move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and test to see if that helps the issues. If it does help, then put your mods/CC back into the newly generated mods folder in the sims 4 folder one by one or in batches and testing the game after each one to see which is the cause of the problem. Put one item in , test the game , take it out. Then test another one, to find the cause of the issue.
If the issue remains after doing that, try doing the suggestions that I posted in the above post.

Try moving your sims household to another home, then move them back again to the original home and see if the issue remains.
