My sims are stuck in University

At least I think they are. It says they have 8 credit of 12 but:
Every time they finish a semester they are asked to enroll again. I choose 4 classes. They do all their work etc and get good grades, but never get the credits or graduate. I am getting tired of playing this family, well no, but I have 6 others in the rotation, that need to age.
I might be cheating the rest of the uni degrees for the rest of the families.

Has anyone else had this issue and has anyone seen a working mod for shorter university?

  • Hmm... I just played one semester with one of my sims and it indeed looks like she didn't get the course credits. Well that sure is annoying :/

I probably wouldn't have noticed this for a while without you, so thank you!
  • Sorry, I was mistaken. I realised that my sim actually failed one of her courses, and she did fail another one before the last semester, so she actually has the amount of credits she is supposed to have! I played another semester and got the course credits.
  • hmm I wonder if that happened too but I didn't notice. Is there a place you can check other then the pop up?
On a side note They both finally graduated last game play. Now I can move on to another family and work on getting the next generations aged up.
I wish I could figure out how to get all the "cousins" into university and the same dorm or house at the same time.
  • I think the pop up is the only place to see the course grades. I figured out my sim was doing the same course again, because I read the course descriptions and realised I had read one of them already and then I remembered she got one F and probably had to retake that course

It's great to hear that your sims were able to graduate! I have only played one sim at a time in university, so I'm not quite sure how combining student households works, but I think that at first you would have to make all of them apply for university and wait for them to be accepted. Then you can enroll each one of them and probably choose them the same dorm.

You should have gotten a notice. I've only had one Sim fail a course, but was happy to see when I had him sign up again, that he could take it again. That meant he had to take four classes when the other three Sims in the Dorm only took three at a time. But, they all passed, even so, and graduated together. It can be tough to wrangle four Sims at a time, but then I decided to take six together at a time. Am I a glutton for punishment? :open_mouth:
  • @GalacticGal , I have done a whole bunch of brothers in one house in my Ginger world game. I have also put a few cousins in one house in my Aliens take over the worlds game. This one though hasn't worked out that well. I would love to have them in the same dorm, but not have to play them all.
