my Sims use a sink to prepare food instead of the counter

my sims insist on preparing food on the sink with the bowl or chopping board pretty much floating on it. At first i thought there wasn't enough space where the counter is however a sim has used that a...

yep it think that was it replaced them and they seem to have stopped going for the sink
