With rentals, does it work like a resort? Or are we talking about something like Sims 3’s resort system? It’d be cool to have something like that again. :smile:

It's not a resort, you just move to another house and pay for the privilege. You clean, you cook, you fix the plumbing.

Aw, so not like owning a resort like in Sims 3, with hiring front desk and staff and such. I would love for a resort system in a pack someday. :smile: (If not, well, here’s to hoping Sims 5 will have it again someday. In the meantime, I have Sims 3 still…)

I hope all of the water area (not just the waterfall lake looking area) is also swimmable.

The ocean is but we don't know if the waterfall is yet. Some simmers say they spotted sims swimming in the ocean.

The ocean would be good enough for me, since I have families with mermaids/merfolk. :smile: The more swimming areas, the better, hehe.

As excited as I am for tomorrow, I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high as there will be a LOT to show—CAS, the proposal, planning the wedding, all of the different parties, the new world, etc. I hope that we at least get to see some build & buy because that’s always my favorite part.

Now that I've gotten over for the disappointment of the pack not being about the romance, but only about weddings I'm getting more and more excited what the pack is going to add on gameplay outside wedding related things. I hope we can have at least something new to do without the actual wedding happening.
I am going to do more weddings now, obviously, but it's just once in a lifetime or "Simstime" (usually), so I'm very interested to see the livestream.
I've watched the trailer several times and I like it a lot, even if the pack is not what I was hoping for. If the weddings will work well from now on (if the guests will stay seated during the ceremony etc) it's going to be awesome. I may even start liking weddings... but only in Sims. ;)

I hope toddlers can dance in a group as well. I hope toddlers can also be flower throwers. That was not in the trailer. I hope toddlers are not excluded from a pack yet again.

Am I the only one who wishes we could be THE guest at a sims wedding? I would love to just be in the background since I don’t really marry anyone. Would be a nice feature to add & make sense with the new neighborhood stories. Getting a call to be part of someone’s wedding would be dope.

I normally don't watch the livestreams, but I'm going to make an exception today. I'm so excited!

I'm curious about the ingame wedding traditions/activities, but I'm already preparing myself to be huge disappointed about the lack of porcelain breaking.

I am hoping hotels are still possible. Past games used items such as private doors, concierge desk, etc that could be placed in buildings to make a hotel. They could do that and have a new lot designation. Fingers crossed but not holding my breathe.
