I'm doing a little moving around in my game, and as a result Willow Creek is looking a bit sparse. I have posted three pictures to show you what I ended up doing. Anyways looking at the picture of Willow Creek, anyone have any ideas on what home, and possible whom I can place there? If you know of any good ones that are in the gallery, please let me know. :)

The empty lot farthest back on the left hand side is a cemetery in my game. I've also got a lounge (music, massages, sauna, the works) and a small retail shop in my WC. I've also got a dog park but you don't have C&D so that doesn't help much. I also have a lot of nice houses, usually revolving around a specific style in each little suburb.

I like the idea of a cemetery, even though I don't have C&D yet, I'll check it out. This is not going to help with your space issue, but if you have the Kids' Room Stuff pack, you could replace the library with MaxisCreator_01's lot "Library Escape". It is the same lot just with a tiny annex for the void critter battle stations and puppet theater.

I just recently rearranged Willow Creek. I went into the gallery and found some venues to place. Rearranged them to my liking, and now my Sims have some new paces to go.I can't understand why the game doesn't create new households to fill the empty houses, when it's ticked in options to do so. My Oasis Springs is like a ghost town, it's empty! I guess that's my job to fill it up.

I'm not a very good builder so I usually get nice houses from the gallery for my families. The cemetery idea is good.Not directly related to this but Newcrest always looks rather dull in my game so I often place a public swimming pool on one of the big lots there.

I'm about to do a major update on Willowcreek in my game. Some of the old venues that came with the base game are getting bulldozed in my save so I can put some skating rinks down. The gym can go as we already have gems in other worlds as can the meseum and the rattlesnake bar. I'm also thinking of placing a pool venue in Willowcreek.

I would take a trip through the Gallery if I were you. There are quite a few homes that fit the style. I took the time to really redo the neighborhoods. Then I ended up deleting the game I had in that save. :open_mouth: I now have to take some time to make a template, redo what I did and do a Save As… when I move a family into said template. But, I had fun grabbing lots from other players to make my towns over. Some of my own builds were employed, too. But, I don't always have the time nor the inspiration to build the many lots required.

I'm doing the exact same thing as far as creating the template is concerned. I've gotten a little tired of starting a new game, and starting over from scratch every single time. Some of the homes I'm not doing much, but am adding things that were not there from the beginning such as a dish washer, and other things like pulling the toilet paper roll down to reaching position. lol If you haven't yet, take a look at the Landgraab's bathrooms, and where their toilet paper rolls are located at. :#

I usually move the Goths and the Spencer-Kim-Lewis like you did. I then fill the lots with residential lots from the gallery. Magnolia Promenade is my retirement community, Newcrest is a touristy neighborhood full of spas, restaurants, parks, galleries, coffee shops, bars, and stores. San Myshuno is pretty much the same except Torendi Towers is an upscale restaurant, and the Fountainview penthouse is a rooftop bar. I delete the bars and coffee shops in Windenberg and make more housing.
