What a nice thread @CK213, very creative, very nostaligic, and very insightful. A bit bitter and a bit sweet. It matches my mood perfectly. I suffer this N.E.P.S, P.E.P.S. Syndromes for ages. I have families which are waiting for perfect game combo - tropical island, horses and celebrity careers. (I can't have TS3 cause my laptop will burn). And the more I have to do in my rl life, the more I think about Sims. Is there any cure?>.>

I have my hopes pinned on getting to the EP critical mass stage.
I experienced that in TS3, where the game didn't really get any traction for me until after four expansion packs.
No toddlers is making worse for me as I really don't want to play without them. Sims jumping from a baby, to a child, and then to what looks like a young adult is too much for my suspension of disbelief after having toddlers and younger teens for TS2 and TS3.
