My Sim has a bucket list wish to "Maybe I'll try to overcome social awkwardness?" and I can't figure out how to achieve this. I've had her go out a meet new Sims, and use the various socially awkward socials like Confess to being..., Ask for social advice... etc, but the counter doesn't tick down at all. Any tips anyone?
Just got this pack so I have not tested the Bucket list feature yet, but I read somewhere that each sim might have a thought about how to fulfill their goal, and that some hints can be found if checking the Aspiration/goals tab in the simology panel. Point on related icons to see how your sim wants to solve it, maybe?
It just says that she should try to connect with other Sims, which is what I'm trying to do with meeting new ones and using the socials.
Maybe try having her raise her Charisma level a bit first? You know, have her talk to herself in the mirror to build that a couple of levels and then have her meet some new sims? Do, please let us know how this works out, as now I am quite curious what the 'trick' is for that.
I'm at a loss. She's got max Charisma already. I've had her socialize with loads of new sims, spend time with them to the point where she's friends with them. But nothing I can think of worked. In the end, she managed to complete her soul's journey through other means, like acting on whims, and fulfiling aspiration goals. So I never did manage to figure out how to do this particular one unfortunately.
I have the same goal and found your post I’m my search to also figure out how to do it. I believe you need to earn the “I know they’ve got my back” sentiment with another sim that’s what seemed to tigger mine.
What did you do to trigger that sentiment? Don’t think I’ve ever noticed it before. Thanks for the tip!
For me, I think it worked when my socially awkward sim (Bella) asked Mortimer "Am I doing this right?" (from romance category).
Another one was when Mortimer told Bella that "it's okay to be a little awkward" (from friendly category).
I think it’s random whenever you get a good relationship and use the social awkward interaction bc it just kinda randomly happened when she used them with her bf so it might take a bit and after that id get another ding in my souls journey randomly when using the social awkward interactions with him
