Yeah they patched the sand art task, the pre-patched version had a task to view the sand art, which doesn't work. I'm playing the pre-patched version so I cheated that task with ui cheats, probably not a good idea (I think cheating doesn't give me AP either) so I should probably update the game on June 10th if it seems stable enough.
