Need help with controlling game camera angle

Ok, so this is weird...Normally I have the game camera (Which I use the Sims 3 style of) angled so that I'm looking SLIGHTLY down at the sims, but also from behind them, as it were. But I went to start a new game for the first time in a while, and the game camera angle (Still Sims 3 style) now has it so that I'm looking down at the sims? Not a complete top down view, such as is an option in Build-Buy, but almost that bad. And for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the camera angle to change in the new game, so that it's the way I want it, viewing the sims slightly from above but also from behind...

I hope this made sense *Sighs* Is there someone who can help me with this, please? I have chocolate chip brownies! *Holds out the plate of them temptingly*

Hold the scroll button down and over then move your mouse back or forth. I've noticed I have to really mash it down and over to the right before it makes the video cam icon pop up after the last patch.
  • I click and hold the Tab button on my keyboard and move the mouse forward or backward to get the angle I want. I don't have to mash anything.

You use Tab mode when playing too? I only when taking pics :)

But yes, holding scroll button and moving mouse does change the angle for me too in live mode. but I dont need to mash either :) Also sims3 camera here.
  • Thank you so much, @LuvtehGeeks , @GalacticGal and @Ellupelluellu ! I will definitely give that a try, hopefully it works for me as it has for you all!
