The oven decided it was time to break so there was no birthday cake, but she aged up anyway. Then the next day he got another birthday party invite from the same chick, this one he declined. It would have made her an elder...not so happy about this aspect of the game. I wish they hadn't included it to begin with. :/
Yes this is another example that this thing is so random. Why would someone want to age his sim every day? The gurus need to tweak this.
