New 2025 Roadmap February 6: Motherlode Season

I was wondering about that motherlode season too. Maybe we get casinos? 

Agree that stock market might not be the funniest sort of gameplay. But it could have two sides - those investing and the companies. What if our family business selling waffles or dog paintings could be a stock company registered in a in-game sock market thing? I think that would be a fun way to get wealthy. Your business would have a value, and one day some investor might send you a pop-up to offer to buy your company for a huuuge sum. And choosing an heir for passing your stocks (the company) on to a new generation would also be interesting. Not enough for a full pack, but with the suggested casino  and perhaps glamorous hotels, I'd be triggered  ;)

I would guess a heist/crime pack, especially since it looks like there’s a picture of a burglar on one of the upcoming collectible milk cartons.  However, since Gritty City was a theme on the most recent EP survey, it’s probably too soon for that type of pack.

So many hints for burglars: a burglar on a milk bottle, a "thief letter" object, a new aspiration that requires a sim to steal up to 250.000 simoleons worth of objects, and "motherlode season" referring to the money cheatcode probably alluding to banks and robbers maaaan if we don't get burglars I'm going to be so disappointed. 

I wonder how it all ties to the nostalgia thing they have going on and the "sul sul" Sims 2 intro sound they included in the Behind the Sims vid.
