New Character Interface!

What is different about it? I'm confused.

Okay, the colorful map view, been that way for a long time.

I don't ever see the Sim pop-up thing with the picture and attributes though.

I think the people who don't play rotationally didn't notice the change. It's been like that for me for a while, and I've noticed because when I play I rotate between different households. I have to click on each one and see this interface.

The funny thing is, I actually do play rotationally. It's a mystery to me!

Me too, at least since July or so 2017 (I started playing that year in May). The first family I made, is still the only family I play in that first save. I just never click the portraits, just the big Play button. I get to pick what sim I want to play, if any of them are away from home. If all the sims are home, I go straight to their house.

Morgyn's picture and info. Apparently its news to some of us, but its been in the game forever :D

I'm curious what the other option was that it looked like? I've never seen anything different in my game.

Right, yeah. That's probably why I never saw it either. If some sim is not at home, I just hover the mouse over the portrait, and that will tell where they are also.

been playing since 2015 and it's always been like that if my memory serves me well

I’m specifically talking about the popup with the Sim picture and traits. I had been playing on the lowest resolution before, so maybe that’s why I hadn’t seen it? I’m not sure.
