Exactly the point I made earlier too.
But one positive thing they mentioned in the Key Features was that you can come back later with your Sims and discover new things, so to me that sounds like the exploration is at least somewhat randomly generated, which helps the replay value of the pack.
But yes, me too, overall not really a fan of packs like this, maybe because OR disappointed me and I only used that pack maybe 2/3 times.
