I am loving the new phone calls. The prank ones are slightly annoying but in a funny way. They absolutely have that Sims 1 vibe to them. (I especially love the one that is a reference to an old Simpsons episode.)
Currently, I'm playing a group of Sims in University. One got a phone call from his mother with a message that said "Hi, I was wondering if you wanted to drop by and see your mother. After all, I did put all that time and effort into raising you.", with options to either go to her house or invite her to his. Now, my Sims would get texts and calls from their family all the time. But this is the first time that one has acknowledged a family relationship like that.
