New Retro Phones

Hello!  I was super excited to learn that house phones were coming back. Once I was able to claim them, I immediately put one in my Sim’s home. To my surprise, they are not functional 😔. Did anyone...

    Yup~ Got mentioned multiple times and in description they wouldn't be functional unfortunately til I saw the notes for it before the event started. Shame really. They're just nice, teasing, decor.

    I have the alarm clock in game and it works fine. Can set it at any time during the day to go off and you can set individual alarm clocks.

I still think they should make real, functional landlines and they could be used as a blocker to incessant smartphone usage. The Goth family, of-the-grid lots and the more rural worlds... they should have landlines for a more realistic situation. I found plenty of places in the game where having a landline would make so much more sense.
