New Sims Delivery Express April 13

The Sims 4 never fails to disappoint. I've only done one scenario just to try them out but I got so excited when I saw the Plant Sim. Why re-introduce them if not to add the option of making them permanent? I got excited again when I saw the word "permanent" in a tweet about the scenario then realized they were talking about the scenario being permanent, not the Plant Sim. Sometimes they come so close to being awesome but then, no.

I recently made a sim who looks like a plant sim and made him the hermit in granite falls. Too bad he can't be a real plant sim.

I just don't get it.
