Does it not make you wonder how a pack, such as an EP, stays the same price over 18 years, as it has for me, when various cost factors contributing to development would've risen sharply (dev salaries mostly come to mind)?
You outsource components of development for cheaper labor costs. EA already does this with SP’s. I remember the tweet from years ago where a concept artist called out the large number of producers assigned to The Sims 4 (Jace Wallace) after he was laid off right before the game launched. Producers (managers) are high cost drivers, and eat up the resources even though they aren’t actually making the content.
