So we have a Mother, who has people consume fruit to join her.
She calls, and those following her must answer.
She lives in a nest, that's apparently beautiful.

This sounds like a cross between Invasion of the Body Snatchers and that little creature that crawled into Chekov's ear and possessed him in Star Trek II. Actually, the whole thing has a 1950's sci-fi feel to it. Especially with the desert setting.

Yeah? I'm speculating that I don't like where it looks like this is going.- Looks something to do with aliens or supernatural, wonder if the world will be like strange town since all the sims are acting strange.
