They said no to aliens. They said no to zombies. I'm thinking it's the apocalypse. Strangetown, plantsims are all good theories. Career is probably military.

This gives me serious cult vibes, which would be fun to play with Get Together.

I think one of the gurus said, they made everything we demanded, and now they wanted to get more creative.

I like that they are remembering past sims games. At release, they seemed to have forgotten all past sims. People were upset over how Don Lothario looked, Katrina Caliente being there, etc. Even now during their guru garage, they don't remember pre-made sims that they made.

My question is, besides the military career, what would there be for our sims to do?

I see that drugs have made it to the sims..

And the "Beauty Beauty" literally is sometimes interrupted by "Bella", so this is definitely related to Bella Goth. There's definitely a new world that's desert-y. Definitely new military stuff (probably just a career, though I'd LOVE to see the return of military school). And the "Water is love, water is life" could be related to plants OR the desert.

But, what's both spacey and plant-y? Pod People. Plants that possess you/clone you/replace you from outer space.

If this IS Strangetown (and considering both the references to Bella and the use of the actual word "strange", it probably is) I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Strangetown Bella isn't original Bella at all, but a Podsim replacement. Maybe THE Podsim leader/hivemind.

But I assumed we're getting a doomsday/prepper/military game pack, with Strangetown (or a related locale) as a new world, and some kind of Podsim mechanic where sims can either get possessed and/or cloned and replaced.

I HOPE this has some kind of interaction with existing aliens, expanding their play. But they might be avoiding that, given the (rightful) backlash towards DLC for DLC. They'd either have to include aliens in two packs or be very careful in how aliens play into this new pack so people don't get upset that they need to buy one DLC to get another DLC to work.

In Sims 3 we had vampires in Late Night and "improved" vampires in Supernatural (with the improvements patched in for LN owners who didn't get Supernatural). Could they do something similar with aliens in the Sims 4? Add them to this pack with improvements, then patch in the improvements for GTW owners?

Either aliens, or maybe it has something to do with PlantSims -- they're already patched into base game, so they'd just need a way to access the magic beans (you can get them in Rare Seed packets with Seasons, would just have to extend that to base game). Maybe eating the Forbidden Fruit turns you into a temporary PlantSim but also cures whatever the bug is that makes Sims look like zombies.

I believe it was grant who said something about getting the hard stuff out of the way. Not everything we demanded. So we have plenty of time left for more fan favorites.

Proper PlantSims is gonna be my second guess, then. I mean, the ones we already have are kind of...well, butt, compared to the Sims 3 equivalent, so I'd like to see them come back proper.
