luckily, as it turns out, it was all a false alarm. there's a fresh post about how vampires are actually untouched so they're the same as always.

Yes which is why people should only tell this story mentioning the fact that SGNinja came to the forums on his weekend to talk to upset simmers about this very thing and is already working on a fix. Just to avoid unnecessary disappointments.

That dancing rodent looks like a costume, similar to the bears or giant raccoons. I might appreciate that more than a real (simulated) rat. I already don't use pet costumes, but I'll take anything for free. :p

Wow, I didn’t even know vampires could do that! Too scary? For a game rated T for Teen? You can literally watch your Sim burn to death and they think a vampire that doesn’t even cause death to your Sim is scary?

They nicked bipedal rodent from me too. Didn't they put it into TS4 as bipedal rat or something like that?

Yeh, they used it for a child/teen thinking about a toddler being a bipedal rat.
