I put my alarm indoors and a burglar came and stole my child's jungle gym outside. My alarm did not go off. I got my sim to go after the burglar and they had a fight. My sim had body skill 10 and won. I've put my alarm outside to see if it works better
It would be neat if we only needed one inside and could upgrade it to activate when certain doors open. Or even fencing if we have one so that they couldn't steal outside objects. Hope putting the alarm outside works for you!
